One app, two jobs

Use Famlet as your own planner and as the family’s hub, in the same app.

Just yours

Your tasks and routines, your private lists and reminders for what you’re in, with an assistant whose chats nobody else can read.

  • Your own tasks and routines.
  • Private lists only you see.
  • An assistant that’s yours alone.

The whole family’s

Home opens on everyone’s day: what’s on now and next, who has what left to do, and the chores waiting for your OK. Add to the lists you all share, and plan the week’s meals.

  • Everyone’s day, a tap away.
  • Approve chores and rewards.
  • Shared lists and the week’s meals.

Tick it off from your home screen

Put Today and To-do on your home screen, small, medium or large. A ring counts down to what’s next, and chores, routine steps and list items tick off right on the widget. Tap + to add an event or a task.

  • Today and To-do, in three sizes.
  • Set each one to the family or just you.
  • On iPhone and Android.

The family’s calendar, in your pocket

Your phone shows three days at a time, with everyone together or a column for each person. Hold an event to drag it somewhere new, search for anything, and check the week even with no signal.

  • Three days at a time, or day, week, month and agenda.
  • Hold and drag to move an event.
  • Any week opens offline.

Ask from any screen

The assistant’s button waits on every screen. Type a question, hold the button to talk, or send it a photo of the school letter. Changes come back for you to check, and nothing happens until you say so.

  1. AskType it, or hold the button and say it.
  2. CheckThe change comes back as a card.
  3. ApplyOne tap, and it’s on every screen.

Reminders that know what’s done

Get a nudge before an event starts, or when it’s time to put the bins out. Tick the chore off first and its reminder never comes. Choose whether the kids’ events remind you too.

  • Before an event, as early as you like.
  • Chores remind you only while they’re open.
  • The kids’ events, if you want them.

Snap it, and it’s in

Photograph a recipe card and it turns into a recipe to check. Take photos straight into the family’s albums for the frame. Send the assistant a photo or a PDF, and it finds the dates.

  • Recipes from a photo or a screenshot.
  • Photos straight into the family’s albums.
  • School letters and PDFs, read for you.

Start on your phone, see it on the wall

Move swimming on your phone, and the wall shows the new time a moment later. Plan the week on your laptop, and it’s on your phone when you head out.

  • Changes reach every screen in seconds.
  • Nothing to refresh or sync by hand.
  • The web app does everything the phone does.

Questions about the personal app

Is Famlet on iPhone and Android?

Yes. Get it on the App Store or Google Play, for phones and tablets, or use the web app in any browser.

Do my kids need a phone or an account?

No. Kids don’t have accounts. They tick off their tasks on the wall, a shared tablet or a parent’s phone.

Can the rest of the family see my private lists and chats?

No. A private list stays yours, and nobody else in the family, the owner included, can read your chats with the assistant. Widgets only offer the lists the family shares.

How do I add the widgets?

Touch and hold your home screen, add Famlet’s Today or To-do widget in the size you want, and choose whose plans it shows. A tick on the widget reaches the family’s board right away.

Does the app work offline?

Your calendar opens offline, so you can always check what’s on. To add or change something, you need a connection.

Do I need the app to use Famlet?

No. The web app at app.famlet.co does everything the phone app does. The phone adds widgets, reminders and the camera.

Why not just use Google Calendar?

Famlet keeps your Google, iCloud and Outlook calendars in sync both ways and adds what a family needs around them: chores and routines, shared lists, meals, a wall display and an assistant that works across all of it.
