Everyone adds. Whoever shops sees it.

Anyone in the household can add to a list from home, work or the school run, and it shows up on the shopper’s phone within seconds, even mid-aisle. Back home, you can see what’s already been ticked off.

  • Last-minute adds reach the shopper’s phone in seconds.
  • Ticked items stay greyed out until you clear them.
  • A list for every store: Groceries, Costco, Trader Joe’s and more.
  • Suggestions from what you’ve bought before.

Snap it, say it or forward it

Photograph a handwritten list, a recipe page or the school’s supply sheet, and the assistant reads it and prepares the items for your list. Or just say what you need. Forward an email to your household address, and its to-dos land on the right list.

  • A photo of any list becomes items to add.
  • “Add bananas and oat milk to Costco.”
  • Forward the school’s email, get the to-dos.
  • Works in Claude and ChatGPT too.

Recipes fill the list

Add a recipe’s ingredients in two taps. They join what’s already on the list when the amounts can safely be added up, and each item says which meals it’s for.

  • It adds up only what matches: 2 onions and 1 onion make 3 onions.
  • Each item says which meals it’s for.
  • Scale a recipe, and the amounts scale with it.
  • The label goes once the item is ticked.

Get it out of your head

Jot it down the moment you think of it: house jobs, packing, gift ideas, the school run. Keep a list just for you, share one with the house, and drag things into the order you’ll do them.

  • A list for every part of life, each with its own icon.
  • Notes on any item, and an emoji if you like.
  • Drag to reorder; done items stay until you clear them.
  • Private lists that only their owners see.

When a to-do needs more

A list holds what you need to remember. When something needs a day, a person or a reminder, tap Make this a chore. It moves to Tasks, up for grabs, where you can give it a time, someone to do it and a reminder.

Any list, up on the wall

Put the groceries or Saturday’s packing list on the wall, and anyone can tick things off as they go, kids included, with no account. If the Wi-Fi drops, the ticks wait and catch up.

  • Big rows anyone can tap.
  • Ticks show on every phone in seconds.
  • Keeps working when the Wi-Fi drops.

Questions about lists

Who can add to a list?

Everyone in your household with a Famlet account can add, edit and tick items on any list that isn’t private. Kids without accounts can tick items on the wall.

Will I see what someone adds while I’m at the store?

Yes. New items and ticks show up on every phone, the web and the wall within seconds.

Can I make a list from a photo?

Yes. Take a photo of a handwritten list, a recipe page or a school supply sheet in the assistant’s chat, and it prepares the items for you to add.

Does it sort items by aisle?

Not automatically. Give items a section, like Produce or Dairy, and the phone groups them that way.

Can a to-do have a date or a reminder?

Lists are for things to remember. When something needs a day, a person or a reminder, tap Make this a chore and set them in Tasks.

Can I keep a list private?

Yes. A private list is seen only by its owners, not by other members, parents or the wall. Add a co-owner to plan a surprise together.

Can I share a list with someone outside the family?

Not yet. Lists are shared with the people in your household.
